Re: Updated arrow vendors?
The migratory bird act is only wild type birds, and it does include wild type game birds that are captive bred. I used to raise captive wild gamebirds, the paperwork is a nightmare when selling feathers or dead stock for any reason. There are "feather" buyers who do have stocks of livestoc...

Re: A deep dive in a shallow pond, thoughts on a Dwarven Dice game
I normally carry dice or plain cards for simple trail games. With the dice we normally play something like yatzee type thing. Kinda like a cross between rummy and yatzee maybe more accurate. I want to make a set of Norse viking era games to put in my pack as I felt they would have been dwarven accur...

Forgecorvus postage is expensive... I wish I had flint though. I buy mine online for my strikers.

Re: I got a rock!
Iodo our saw is a oversized tile saw, and i think a finer grade diamond blade would leave a smoother finish.b The other factor to the finish is the hardness of the sandstone. Some of our sandstone is very porous and soft while other is harder. I did go out and cut several slabs down to carrying size...

Re: Traveling Dwarven persona and pack ideas
not sure if i will go back to the pack frame being the ladder style. I did get to try some more modern pack frames from an army friend and found that the old swiss style frame worked best. It would be closer to the a croft frame, but with more curves and wide hip strap. The main rubs or sore points ...

Re: I got a rock!
OOOOOOH… this has me thinking… what are the chances you could maybe rough something out in a slightly long, oval shape? Y’know, kinda like… I am going to play around with making a carry stone. I couldn't get my photos to upload to imgur of what I have cut so far... May go for a hike tomorrow to the...

Re: I got a rock!
Hello, my name is Ulfr, and I am a rock addict... Ok on a serious note, the jade whetstone sent me down a rabbit hole. After some research and digging on our farm.... I grabbed a chunk of sandstone, ran it through the stone saw, and tried it... I took my old barn hatchet to try and sharpen. It put a...

Re: Traveling Dwarven persona and pack ideas
Still working on my pack ideas but with health set backs it's been slow going. I did finish the pack frame and test it in the woods during hunting season. It was horrible to carry in the woods going up and down the mountain slope i live on. The frame was ok if i had layers on but if it was just a fl...
